UPMIXING

Upmixing is the process of taking a single stereo file (or anything up to 7.1) and expanding it to an Atmos deliverable. The best way to describe these tools is that they manipulate and rebalance energy around the room to fill the 7.1.4 channels with controls to help you manage this balance.

When possible, dedicated Atmos mixing is still highly recommended.
